Captain Uriel Sebree's Co., Scott's Regiment, Kentucky Militia takes part in a number of historical pageants, commemorations as well as site dedications and lectures. A significant part of our mission is to properly represent the citizen soldier in recreated battle scenarios within the confines of historic sites throughout North America.
We honor the significant part the citizen soldier of Kentucky and all of participating states in the Great War of 1812.
If you are interested in this elite group of 1812 living history enthusiasts, but were concerned about costs, you can do no better service then to join the militia.
In 2005 we swapped our muskets for pikes, and our allegiance to the Crown as "The Gun Crew Wolfe". By popular consent, this gives members a broader experience from both sides of the conflict, both as sailors on the Great Lakes, and as Loyalists.
We invite recruits, friends, compatriots and family to review our "gallery" pages for scenes of events past with new opportunities to follow.
The mission of the Kentucky Militia is to properly portray the citizen soldier of the War of 1812. We strive to do this with a sense of economy and authenticity. Our primary goal is to participate in the many 1812 reenactments that take place annually in the many historic sites in and around North America and have fun doing it!
